When a steam shower stops producing steam, identify the generator and controller before interpreting the display. A room, water-supply or control problem can resemble an equipment fault.
Safe observations before a service visit
- Photograph the external generator nameplate and exact controller message without removing a cover.
- Read the normal operating settings in the matching manual. Record whether the display is on and whether the room ever begins producing steam.
- Check only visible conditions that the user manual permits: a closed room door, obvious external leaks or a known interruption to the water supply.
- Stop use for repeated electrical trips, damaged wiring, smoke or water around electrical equipment. Do not open a live enclosure, clear an internal blockage or bypass a sensor.
Harvia HGX: match the generation and manual
