Installation notes (from the HUUM manual)
- Floor of non-combustible material with sufficient load capacity (e.g. concrete >=50 mm); on a combustible floor the HUUM thermal plate/protective bedding (or equivalent) is mandatory with >=30 mm ventilation gap.
- Safety distances to flammables: back 150 mm, side 150 mm, above 1000 mm (declaration of performance); door side B = 500 mm (Table 1/Fig. 7).
- At least 50 mm between a non-combustible wall and the stove; protective screens reduce distances by 50% (single) / up to 75% (double); ceiling -25% with single screen.
- Combustible floor in front: metal plate >=100 mm beyond door sides and >=400 mm in front (HUUM floor protective plate 420 x 450 mm).
- Chimney: T450, min cross-section 10 400 mm2, leg Ø 114 mm; top or back connection; average flue gas temp below 400 C so may share an existing flue if local authorities approve.
- Heat outdoors once before installation with door slightly open.
