The brief: find the causes of recurring commercial shutdowns, repair the system and re-engineer it for the volume, duty cycle and service access of a working wellness club.
What was failing
The chillers had been installed inside a ceiling void, the electrical design caused recurring shutdowns, and residential-grade filtration was being used in a commercial facility. The problem was not one broken component. The installation had been designed like a villa fit-out while being operated as a high-use business.
What Euphorium changed
- Relocated the chillers to a serviceable outdoor plant area.
- Added dedicated isolators and MCB protection for each chiller.
- Redesigned approximately 30 metres of hydraulic routing for commercial flow.
- Reworked the cooling and filtration arrangement for the actual 12,000-litre operating volume.
The result
The system returned to continuous commercial operation and maintains 12,000 litres at 4°C without bagged ice or thermal covers. Future inspection and repair can now happen from an accessible plant area instead of a ceiling void.
Approved customer proof
“Euphorium is very experienced with chiller systems and I would trust them and their company to do any of our work in future.”

What this case proves
Commercial recovery equipment needs commercial flow, protected electrical distribution, reachable plant and a maintenance strategy. Product selection alone cannot compensate for a system installed around the wrong duty cycle.
