Cryotherapy equipment
Cryotherapy chamber supply and installation in Dubai
A cryotherapy chamber exposes the body to very cold, dry air for a short, timed session. We supply and build electric and nitrogen chambers and cryosaunas for clinics, gyms, hotels and private villas in Dubai.
Compare cryotherapy equipmentElectric, nitrogen or cryosauna: three types of cryotherapy chamber
Every chamber uses cold, dry air, but the way that air is produced decides almost everything else: the room it needs, the running cost, the safety plan and who can operate it.
Euphorium's former walk-in recovery facility is closed and no longer bookable. Euphorium supplies, installs, maintains and repairs saunas, ice baths and cold-plunge chillers for homes, gyms, hospitality spaces and events across the UAE. Rentals are available for saunas and ice baths.
Cryosauna. A cryosauna is a single-person, open-top cabin where the head stays outside the cold space. Most cryosaunas run on nitrogen. They take less floor space than a walk-in full body cryotherapy chamber and are common in clinics and beauty studios. If you are looking at a cryosauna for sale, check the nitrogen supply arrangement as carefully as the cabin itself.
A cryotherapy machine for a single body part, such as a handheld cold-air unit, is a different category. This page covers whole-body equipment.
Space, power and ventilation
The room matters as much as the unit. Before recommending a chamber, we check:
- Floor area and height. The cabin footprint, door swing, an ante-room or changing space, and clearance around the machine for service access. Walk-in units need more ceiling height than a cryosauna.
- Floor loading. Chambers and their plant are heavy. Upper-floor and rooftop locations need a structural check.
- Power. Electric chambers need a dedicated high-capacity supply, often three-phase. Nitrogen units need far less power but still need a dedicated circuit for controls and fans.
- Ventilation. Electric units release heat from their refrigeration plant, which adds to the room's cooling load. Nitrogen units need a ventilation design that removes nitrogen vapour safely, plus oxygen level monitoring with an alarm.
- Nitrogen supply. For nitrogen units, a delivery route for the tank and a safe, ventilated storage area that meets the supplier's requirements.
- Climate. In Dubai the room must be air-conditioned and dry. Humid air entering a cold cabin turns to frost and condensation, which affects performance and floors.
These checks decide which chamber type is practical for your building, often before price is discussed.
Who buys them: clinics, gyms and villas
Euphorium's former walk-in recovery facility is closed and no longer bookable. Euphorium supplies, installs, maintains and repairs saunas, ice baths and cold-plunge chillers for homes, gyms, hospitality spaces and events across the UAE. Rentals are available for saunas and ice baths.
Gyms, sports clubs and hotels usually prefer electric chambers because there are no nitrogen deliveries to manage, and the unit can run through the day. The cryo zone sits best next to changing rooms and other recovery equipment, and some operators pair it with a salt room build or heat rooms to create a full recovery floor.
Villas. A cryotherapy chamber for home use is a larger commitment than a sauna or plunge tub, mainly because of power, floor space and ventilation. It makes most sense in a large villa wellness suite or a private gym that is already being built or renovated. Our page on recovery room design covers how heat, cold and support zones are planned together.
We build salt rooms and cryotherapy chambers as well as saunas and ice baths, so the chamber can be coordinated with the rest of the room rather than delivered as a standalone box.
Running cost and safety
The running cost of a cryotherapy chamber depends mainly on its type:
- Electric chambers use electricity for the refrigeration plant and for keeping the cabin at temperature. The cost depends on how long the unit runs each day, the room temperature around it and the local tariff.
- Nitrogen chambers and cryosaunas use liquid nitrogen for each session, plus a smaller electrical load. The cost depends on the number of sessions, the supply contract and how often the tank is refilled.
- Both types need routine servicing, cleaning between users and periodic checks of controls, sensors and door seals.
Safety is a design item, not an afterthought. For any chamber we plan an emergency stop, a door that opens easily from inside, session time limits set in the controls and clear user instructions. Nitrogen rooms need oxygen monitoring and ventilation that removes vapour safely. Operators should screen users, provide dry clothing, gloves and footwear, and never leave a session unsupervised.
We supply and install the equipment; we do not diagnose, treat or prevent medical conditions, and we promise no health, recovery or performance result. Anyone with a medical condition should get advice from a qualified medical professional before a first session.
Cryo chamber or cold water immersion
Both use cold, but they are very different to own and run. A chamber uses very cold, dry air for a short session. An ice bath uses chilled water, and the user is immersed for longer at a far higher temperature than chamber air.
- Space. A plunge tub fits in a bathroom corner or on a terrace. A chamber needs its own room or a large zone.
- Services. A tub needs a water fill, a drain and a chiller circuit. A chamber needs high power or a nitrogen supply, plus ventilation.
- Use. People often describe cold water as more intense on the skin and dry air as more tolerable for a short session. Personal preference varies.
- Cost to own. A plunge tub is a far smaller investment and running cost than a whole-body chamber.
For most homes, a plunge tub is the practical choice. For commercial recovery floors, many operators offer both.
Current products in the cryotherapy shop
Our cryotherapy shop currently lists nitrogen and electric whole-body chambers, a nitrogen cryosauna and a commercial chamber. Each product page shows the specification and the current cryotherapy chamber price for that model.
Shop prices are listed in dirhams; VAT and any delivery charge are added at checkout, where you pay through Mamo. Free delivery within Dubai on shop orders. Delivery outside Dubai is calculated at checkout. If the chamber needs room preparation or installation, we agree that scope in writing first, and the timeline is set in the written quotation for your site.
When you compare cryotherapy chamber cost between models, add the room works, power or nitrogen supply, ventilation and servicing to the unit price. A listed price online rarely includes any of these.
To get a useful recommendation, send us four things: the room dimensions and ceiling height, the floor level and slab type, the available electrical supply, and how many sessions you expect per day. With those, we can tell you whether an electric unit, a nitrogen unit or a cryosauna is practical, and what room works it will need. Delivery, room preparation and installation are then confirmed in writing.
To see the four current models side by side, compare cryotherapy equipment in the shop. For a recommendation, send those four details on WhatsApp to +971 58 517 0161.
Can you put a cryotherapy chamber in a home?
Yes, if the home can support it. A home chamber needs dedicated floor space, a structural check for the weight, a high-capacity power supply for electric units or a nitrogen supply and ventilation for nitrogen units, and an air-conditioned, dry room. In practice it suits a large villa wellness suite or private gym. For most homes, a plunge tub is simpler to own and run.
What is the difference between an electric and a nitrogen chamber?
An electric chamber cools air with a refrigeration system and needs a high-capacity power supply but no nitrogen deliveries. A nitrogen chamber cools air with liquid nitrogen vapour, reaches temperature quickly and needs less power, but requires a regular nitrogen supply, safe tank storage, ventilation and oxygen monitoring. Gyms often choose electric; clinics with cryosaunas often use nitrogen.
How much does a cryotherapy chamber cost?
Current prices are shown in UAE dirhams on each product page in our cryotherapy shop, with VAT and any delivery charges shown at checkout. The full cost of ownership also includes room preparation, power or nitrogen supply, ventilation and servicing. Where installation is needed, timelines are site-specific and confirmed in the written quotation.
Is a cryo chamber the same as an ice bath?
No. A chamber uses very cold, dry air for a short session, while an ice bath uses chilled water and the user is immersed for longer. A plunge tub needs a water fill, drain and chiller circuit; a chamber needs high power or nitrogen, plus ventilation and its own room. Many commercial recovery floors offer both.
How do I pay for cryotherapy equipment?
Priced products in the shop can be bought online. Website prices are in UAE dirhams, VAT and any delivery charges are shown at checkout, and you pay securely through Mamo checkout. For projects that need room preparation or installation, we confirm the scope in writing first, and timelines are site-specific and confirmed in the written quotation.
Is cryotherapy safe?
Safety depends on the equipment, the room and how sessions are run. We plan emergency stops, easy-opening doors, session limits in the controls and, for nitrogen units, oxygen monitoring and ventilation. Euphorium does not diagnose, treat or prevent medical conditions and does not promise any health result. Anyone with a medical condition should ask a qualified medical professional before use.
