Infrared sauna, done right.
Infrared saunas for Dubai homes, apartments, and clinics — supplied, installed, and serviced. Lower temperature (45-60°C), gentler on the heart, lower power draw, fits in spaces traditional saunas can’t. We sell, install, repair, and maintain. AED 8K-50K residential, AED 80K+ for clinical or commercial.
Infrared vs traditional.
The two biggest questions Dubai buyers ask: which type is right for me, and what’s the actual difference. Honest comparison — neither is “better,” they suit different needs.
What we install.
Six common infrared sauna configurations across our Dubai client base.
1-person infrared cabin
Compact 1.2 × 1 m footprint. Single bench, full-spectrum or far-infrared panels. Fits in a guest bathroom or large walk-in closet. The Dubai apartment standard. AED 8-15K supplied and installed.
2-person infrared
1.5 × 1.2 m, two seated benches or one bench + standing space. Most common villa install. Front glass panel, integrated chromotherapy, Bluetooth audio. AED 15-28K range.
3-4 person infrared
1.8-2 m wide, L-shape or rectangular benches. For families that use the sauna together. Premium woods (Canadian hemlock or red cedar), full-spectrum heaters, auto-sequenced lighting. AED 25-40K.
Full-spectrum (near + mid + far)
The premium tier — separate heaters for near-, mid-, and far-infrared wavelengths, each with claimed different therapeutic effects. Ideal for clinics, wellness centers, or serious recovery enthusiasts. AED 35K+.
Clinical / commercial
For physiotherapy clinics, athletic recovery centers, wellness practices. Multi-user, hospital-grade sanitization protocols, durability for heavy daily use. Usually 2-3 cabins per facility. Quoted bespoke.
Outdoor infrared pod
Standalone cabin in garden or rooftop. Weather-rated cladding (thermowood), insulated for outdoor use, IP-rated electrical. Less common than traditional outdoor saunas but lovely for clients who want a wellness pod separate from the house. AED 30-60K.
What it costs.
Real ranges for infrared saunas in Dubai. Cheaper is not always worse — often the AED 8K cabin gives 80% of the experience of the AED 30K cabin. We help you choose what fits your usage.
Apartment standard
1-2 person cabin, ceramic or carbon panels, basic controls. Solid quality from established brands like JNH Lifestyles, Dynamic, or our own white-label assembly.
Villa premium
2-4 person, premium woods, full-spectrum heater option, smart controls, audio/lighting integration, glass front. Sunlighten, Clearlight, JNH premium models — or bespoke build to your specification.
Clinical / commercial
Full-spectrum cabins designed for clinical use, plus installation, sanitation systems, scheduling controls. Multi-cabin package pricing for clinics with 2-3 rooms.
Why infrared makes sense in Dubai.
Apartment-friendly
Standard 16A single-phase circuit, no water needed, no Civil Defense permits typically required. Most Dubai apartment buildings allow infrared installs without special HOA approval. The constraint that blocks traditional saunas — power and ventilation — doesn’t apply.
Lower running cost
1.5-2.5 kW power draw means a 45-minute session costs roughly AED 1.50-2.50 in electricity. Use it daily and you’re at AED 50-75/month — versus AED 1,500-2,500 for a wellness club membership. The break-even on a AED 15K cabin is roughly 6-8 months versus club fees.
Heat-sensitive friendly
The lower 50°C operating temperature is much more accessible for clients with cardiovascular caution, post-surgical recovery, pregnancy concerns (consult doctor), or just heat sensitivity. Many couples buy an infrared because one partner can’t tolerate traditional sauna’s 90°C.
Daily use, longer sessions
Infrared sessions are typically 30-45 minutes (vs traditional 15-20). The lower temperature lets you read, listen to a podcast, work on your laptop in the cabin. Many clients use it as their morning meditation/reading space — gets actual daily use, not weekly use.
Quick to heat
10-15 min from start to ready. No 30-min pre-heat ritual. Combined with smart scheduling (turns on as you wake up), it removes friction from daily use. Friction is what kills consistency, and consistency is what produces the actual health benefits.
We service what we sell
Most infrared sauna sellers in Dubai are pure resellers — they don’t repair, they don’t service, they vanish after delivery. Euphorium installs, services, and repairs every cabin we sell. The 5-year ownership experience is what matters, not just the unboxing.
Frequently asked.
Are the health claims real?
Some are well-supported in research, some are oversold. Cardiovascular benefits, post-exercise recovery, sleep quality, and sweat-based detoxification have solid evidence. “Burns 600 calories per session” and aggressive weight loss claims — overhyped. We won’t sell you on benefits that aren’t real. We’ll tell you the cabin will help you sweat consistently, recover faster after workouts, and likely improve sleep — and that’s a lot.
Carbon vs ceramic vs full-spectrum heaters?
Carbon panels: even heat distribution, lower surface temperature, larger heating area. Ceramic emitters: more intense, point-source heat, traditional infrared experience. Full-spectrum: separate near/mid/far heaters at different wavelengths — most expensive, claimed broadest benefit. For most home users, modern carbon panels deliver the best value. Full-spectrum is justified for clinical/serious recovery use.
EMF — do I need to worry?
Better-quality cabins use low-EMF heater elements. We test EMF readings on every cabin we sell. Under 3 mG (milliGauss) at the bench is the standard we hold to — well below WHO conservative limits. Cheaper Alibaba cabins often have higher EMF; we don’t sell those. Ask for the EMF spec sheet on any cabin you’re considering.
Can I install one in my Dubai apartment?
Yes — most buildings allow infrared cabins as appliance installs (no permit needed). Power draw fits standard 16A residential circuits. No water, no ventilation requirements beyond the room’s normal airflow. We’ve installed in apartments in Marina, Downtown, JBR, Business Bay, JLT, Dubai Hills, and Damac Hills.
How long does an infrared sauna last?
Quality cabin: 10-15 years. Heater panels are the most-replaced part — typically 7-10 years on carbon, 10+ years on ceramic. Wood interior holds up indefinitely with light maintenance. The control electronics are the second weakest link — we keep replacement units in stock for the 4-5 brands we install most.
Sunlighten vs Clearlight vs JNH vs unbranded?
Sunlighten and Clearlight are the US premium leaders — excellent quality, strong warranty, premium pricing (AED 25-50K). JNH Lifestyles is the value champion — solid quality at AED 12-22K. Unbranded Alibaba imports vary wildly — some are rebadged from the same factories as branded cabins, some are genuinely lower quality. We can supply any of these, or build a custom unit using top-tier components.
Do you offer rental before buying?
Limited — we have a couple of demo cabins that we can deploy for a 30-day trial in Dubai for serious buyers. AED 1,200 deposit, fully refunded against purchase. Available subject to schedule. Most clients prefer to visit our showroom (when it relocates) or trial a session at one of our partner facilities.
What about repairs years from now?
We service every infrared cabin we sell, and most third-party brands too. Common repairs: heater panel replacement (AED 800-2,500), control board swap (AED 600-1,500), bench/wood refurb (AED 1,000-3,000). Most cabin issues are diagnosable and repairable rather than requiring full replacement.
